Command history
See who used Buddy's moderation, admin and banner commands in your server, and when, in the Command history page of your dashboard.
On this page
Command history is a running record of Buddy commands used in your server: who ran them, which command, a short note about what happened and how long ago. It's a quick way to check what your staff have been doing with Buddy, like who warned or banned someone, who pruned a channel or who changed the server banners.
Before you start#
There's nothing to set up. Buddy records entries automatically from the moment it joins your server.
Where to find it#
Go to My Discords and pick your server.
It's under Overview in the sidebar.
What you see#
The page shows the 50 most recent entries, newest first.
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| User | The Discord username of the person who used the command. |
| Command | The command or action, e.g. warn, prune, upload_banner. |
| Details | A short description, e.g. "Admin Used Warn Command" or "Set active banner playlist". |
| When | How long ago it happened. |
What's recorded#
Not every command is logged. Buddy records the ones that matter for staff accountability:
| Area | Recorded |
|---|---|
| Moderation | /warn, /warns, /removewarn, /mute, /unmute, /kick, /ban, /unban, /prune, and the Warn User, Warn Message User, Mute User and Mute Message User apps |
| Admin | /setup, /echo, /botinfo |
| Information | /serverinfo, /userinfo, the User Info app |
| Invites and applications | /invite, /apply |
| Banners and icons | Uploads (/upload_banner, /upload_icon and the staff versions), /edit_banners, /edit_banner_overlays, /edit_icons, /view_banners, /view_icons, /banner_status, /icon_status, Get Images, the enable, disable and delete buttons, and every /rotation_playlist change |
| Announcements | Post to Announcement, scheduling and cancelling with /scheduleannouncement or Schedule Announcement, and each scheduled post when it goes out |
| Social stats | /socialstats changes: linking and unlinking accounts, and adding, editing, pausing, resuming and deleting counters |
| Website | Status changes to ban appeals made from the dashboard |
Fun and member commands like /rank, /spin, /bump and /summary aren't recorded.
Command history isn't Discord's own audit log, and it only covers Buddy. For a full picture of what happens in your server (message deletes, role changes, joins), set up server logs.

What a few entries look like:

Troubleshooting#
The page says "No commands used yet"#
Nobody has used a recorded command in this server yet. Try /serverinfo, then reload the page.
A command I used isn't listed#
Only the commands in the table above are recorded. Also, the page shows the latest 50 entries, so older ones drop off as new ones come in.
I can't open Command history#
You need Administrator in the server to use its dashboard. Ask the owner to give you a role with Administrator, or to check the history for you.
