The Spin Machine is a simple slot game members can play anywhere Buddy can talk. Spin three reels, match symbols to win credits, and compete for the top spot on your server's leaderboard. Credits are just for fun: they can't be bought, sold or exchanged for anything.
Before you start#
There's nothing to set up. Anyone who can send messages can play.
Slots can get spammy. Give them a home like #games or #bot-commands, and use channel permissions
or command roles to keep them there.
How to play#
Type /spin play. New players get 100 credits to start.
Click one of the green buttons, like Spin 5 Credits. The buttons you see depend on how many credits you have (see below).
Buddy spins for a few seconds, then shows three symbols and your result.
Click Spin Again to bring up the bet buttons again.
Only the person who started a spin can click its buttons. Anyone else gets "Only the person that created that message can interact with it."
Winning#
The reels use seven symbols: 🍒 🍋 🍉 🍇 🍊 ⭐ 💎.

Winnings are added on top of your credits, and your bet isn't taken on a win.

Out of credits?#
If you hit 0, /spin play offers Claim 50 Credits once per day. If you've already played today,
it says to check back tomorrow and shows a Vote for Buddy for Bonus! link.
The once-a-day limit is enforced when you click: if you open /spin play twice, or click an old
Claim 50 Credits button, Buddy tells you (privately) that you already claimed today.
If a bonus reward is waiting for you, Buddy shows Claim Reward before anything else. Click it to add the credits. A reward can only be claimed once.
Leaderboard#
/spin leaderboard shows the server's top players as an image, 10 per page, ranked by credits, with
each player's credits, wins and total spins. Use the page option to jump to a page, or the
Previous Page and Next Page buttons. The buttons work for 60 seconds and only for the person
who opened the leaderboard.
Credits, wins and spins are kept per server, so each server has its own leaderboard.
Commands#
Anyone who can send messages can use these. Command roles don't
apply to /spin, so limit it with channel permissions if you need to.

Troubleshooting#
"You do not have enough credits for this spin"#
You clicked an old bet button for more credits than you have now. Run /spin play again for buttons
that match your balance.
The buttons don't work for me#
Each spin belongs to the person who started it. Run /spin play yourself.
The leaderboard says "No spin data yet"#
Nobody in this server has played. Credits from other servers don't count here.
Nothing happens when I use /spin#
Buddy needs View Channel and Send Messages in that channel. If it's missing a permission, it replies with the ones it needs.
